Cyleina Black Pearl Soap

I accompanied my mom to Watson's kanina, while she was looking around, i went to their soap section, just checking if they already got Ivory Soap in stock,sadly wala parin.. =( Then i saw this black soap that really caught my attention, it's the Cyleina Black Pearl soap! I can't believe it's already in Watson's! Before kasi, you can only purchase their soaps from their online shops or other resellers. Maybe this soap is really something.. so i bought one to try it.. anyway my ivory is not available yet..besides it's organic, so i am kinda certain that it's safe to use naman.. 

It has:

• Collagen
• Licorice
• Alpha Arbutin
• Vitamin E

When i got home, i hurriedly went to the shower and tried it on syempre! haha! (Hindi makapaghintay!) i also tried it on my face, i dunno if it has mint in it, but it has a cool sensation.. .I rinsed it after 2-3 minutes. =)

Right now, there will be no review yet..  but will do soon..Allow me to use it for 1-2 weeks then expect an honest review from me. =) i have also read a lot of good reviews though, so we'll see.. if this will really work and make my dark spots disappear! haha =) i really hate the siko and tuhod part kasi eh! =(

Aling Dionisia's Hermes Bag

I was watching Rated K awhile ago, and for the first time, Aling Dionisia showed the world the controversial Hermes Bag she got from Manny Pacquiao on her birthday. Although she was not able to reveal it before, everybody assumed it cost almost a million or more.. (Syempre, what do we expect, it's the pacmom!)

So here's what she got.... charaaaaaaaaaaan!

 I felt disappointed. I mean, yes it's gorgeous! But i was expecting Manny to give her the best.. a Birkin or a Kelly perhaps?Am not an expert about bags, especially Hermes (I can't afford one yet haha! Maybe 30 years from now, i'll have my own too!)  so i ain't sure.

Sigh.. But according to Jinky it cost more than 1 million pesos, but if her bag is that Garden bag above, then that's just like more or less 100,000pesos! We should consult The Bag Hag about this.. but i hope the one that Mommy D has, really cost more than a million, because she deserves it, besides, she is the mother, without her, there will be no Manny Pacquiao right?

Ikaw? What is your opinion about this? =)

June 25 Recipe: "Cornedbeef Stew" or "Cornedbeef na de sabaw"

We all love "mainit na sabaw" whenever it's raining..like Bulalo, Sinigang or Tinola.. (Hayyy so sarap!) too bad we can't go out and go to the supermarket for the ingredients.. so what should we do? Grab any possible ingredients that can at least conciliate our cravings..

This is a very simple recipe.. =) So even if you can't cook.. you can make this dish.. with the help of some ingredients you can find at home..

What you need:

• Corned beef (for me, I prefer purefoods chunky--i like the beef strands and chunks kasi..but you can use any of your favorite cornedbeef you have at home)
• Broccoli chopped into pieces
• Diced Potatoes
• Onions
• Garlic
• Salt to taste

How to do it:

1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add and sauté the garlic until fragrant,  stir in onion until soft and translucent.
2. Put the cornedbeef and stir for 1 minute, now pour 2 cups of water (it depends on how much sabaw you want) and add salt to taste.
3. Bring to boil with occasional stirring. Then drop in the diced potatoes and let it simmer for awhile or until the potatoes are almost cooked or tender.
4. Now add the broccoli and let it boil, make sure to lower the heat, and please do not overcooked the broccoli. You may add some more salt depends on your desired taste.

P.S. If there is no broccoli at home, you may also use baguio beans or Cabbage.. =)

Noodles Anyone?

It's raining non-stop.. so i decided to cook my favorite noodle soup.. but please do not expect too much because this is an instant noodle! hahaha =) But it is tasty i swear!

Well, I have this kind of addiction when it comes to noodles..

I was a big fan of Maggi Chicken Noodles..

 

But later on, the taste is becoming different.. somewhat matabang.. and the noodle is getting thinner.. 

Then i discovered Lucky Me Itnok..

 

It is super sarap.. well for me.. since i really love putting eggs to my noodle soup.. hehe =) 

One day, a friend gave me ramen instant noodles..

I didn't cook it at first, because i know ramen is a korean noodle.. and i don't really like anything that is korean.. really i am not a fan (except for Lee Min Ho and korean movies of course! haha) but when i run out of stock of itnok.. then i decided to give it a try.. I must say that i am starting to love it.. =) 

Then i was being introduced to Nong Shim Ramyun by a friend who loves korean foods..

It is sooooo good.. except for the fact that it is sooooooo HOT.. i swear it's not tolerable if you are not used to spicy foods.. but really it was so good.. 

Well as much as i wanted to eat this everyday, i can't.. because it's too spicy.. good thing i found out that it has another variant.. which is just slightly hot.. =)

So from then, this has been my favorite among all the noodles that i've tried.. It's also my sister's favoritoo..

So yummy! 

But i am still craving for Rice Paper's Crab Meat Noodle Soup.. :((

I can't wait to go to HK to have some.. =)

Forever 21 madness!

Eversince Forever21 came to the Philippines, i always make sure to visit their store whenever i go to manila.. It's stylish and really cheap! I belong to the plus size group, so you would understand how hard it is to find clothes that will surely fit.. especially if you are living in the province! I am just thankful because Online Shopping becomes "uso", if not i would forever stick to Tubby's clothes and waste my money.. (Although i still buy my jeans from them) but for me it's too pricey! The quality is not that good either.. so i am soo stoked to know that forever 21 is here! 

So why do i love forever 21? 

•  They have faith21 (wide varities of stylish plus size apparels!)
• They're affordable!
• You have a lot to choose from! From clothes to accesories..
• Lastly, they do accept debit card! so i won't have to bring cash all the time! Teehee*

Those are just some of my loots, i also have accesories from them (But honestly, i don't like it especially their gold plated ones, they easily fade or get dark..well maybe am just getting what i paid for hehehe)

It's been a month since i last went to their shop.. so i kept on thinking what's new on their store.. good thing their Facebook Page is updated!

Facial Wash

Hi readers! This would be my first blog post here.. so please please bear with me.. =)

I have been searching for the right facial wash that is perfect for my sensitive skin.. so far.. the searching is still on.. sigh* 

Ive tried Pond's Flawless White

At first i thought i've found it at last.. but later on my skin becomes rough.. and it doesn't look healthy.. it's just white.. but when you touch it.. it's different.. =(

So i switched to another product.. I tried Nivea Sparkling White 

My sister recommended this.. because she uses it.. and it works well on her face.. so i gave it a try.. it was good too.. but still.. my face is still rough.. 

So after a month of using it..i am again planning to switch to another product..

i found L'oreal White Perfect..

So far it does really work on my face.. i used it for few months too.. but i noticed that i am having freckles (am not sure if it's because of it though) then i still have dark spots.. 

Then i concluded.. maybe i have too sensitive skin..and i remember my mom buying tons of ivory soaps..she used to tell me that we should use it because it's mild and it doesn't harsh our skin.. 

So i got one of the ivory soaps she have.. and used it for a week..And i must say.. i could see the difference.. my face is healthier.. and smooth.. but since soap can cause dryness to our skin, we should use moisturizer too..

I am using Myra-E VitaWhite moisturizer

I swear this product is awesome.. it has SPF15 too.. just enough SPF to protect us from the harsh sun.. I use it before i put on my make up.. and after i wash my face at night.. =) 

Right now, i am having breakouts because of lack of sleep.. yes, sleeping is good for skin too.. so don't stay up too late.. =D
